NTU street Soccer tournament

Today, at the invitation of my frenz, yongyuaN, i played in the NTU street soccer tournament.. as usual, i'm playing goalkeeper...

i'm still not there yet though.. ha, i believe my distribution needs more work.. and my anticipation is juz a bit too slow... argh.. need more practice really........

Anyway, i expected a rout for us.. basically, we ain't that experienced, plus our fitness compared to other teams is like juz so lacking.. but we r all here for the thrill and fun of it.. as long as we aquitt ourselves well in the game, we can pat ourselves on the back and say ' great job'

yesh, and with no doubt, we got thrashed duly... shucks.. though my teammates praised me, aye.. i think they are over generous la.. i still tink i suck.. k, made some tidy saves.. but i still let in bucketful of goals.. tried my best but juz lacking that extra distance.. crap, i believe i could have stopped more shots.. if only i had more experience, yes...

today has been a really eye opener for me, got to see some really good shooting.. i tink i have learned quite a lot, which will improve in my game hopefully..

Never give up that's my motto.. keep trying.. keep improving..

ha.. and i'm now covered with bruises, bleeding.. totally shagged out.. i tink i have never dived so much in my entire life before.... this last team we faced was really really amazing.. their one touch passing and their accuracy in shooting meant we were juz ducks out there..

ha.. interesting, tis is wad i call pro xia........

My First Blog Post

this is kinda crappy bcoz i'm currently doing something which i thought i never will do.. that is to write my feelings in bLoG

anyway i'm bored tt's why and faced with the prospect of 6 weeks more to exams, i'm freaking out.. i dun think i can afford anymore ta paos ( NTU lingo for failing subjects )

i'm not blessed with extremely active brain cells neither am i equipped with the undying determination to study hard

i'm basically a slacker but unfortunately, the days of enjoying slacking perhaps had ended at acjc.. i really can't see anyone slacking in NTU... *shrug*

ha, my frenz juz asked me, hey how'z ur love life? any target?
i pondered... i think i like this girl.. perhaps just see how it goes, i guess.. shan't expect too much also , i'm honestly still burdened with wad has happened in the past with my former penguin..

anyway i'm in the process of creating my acjc class yearbook 2SG5 2000/2001, totally overdue..

wahahaha, lots of my frens will know that i always bring camera wherever i go in school... oh do mind the fact that at that time, it was only conventional cam, a digital cam for 1.2 megapix could easily costs $700++
amazing how technology advances in juz a mere 3 yrs
so be it classes, lectures, acjcband concerts, or juz any outing, i juz love to drag my cam along to take photos of wad we'll be doing..

guess there's nothing more satisfying to see those photos being developed

haha.. think my classmates pretty much were 'gek' at me trying to 'paparazzi' them.. but at the end of our 2 year journey in my beloved college, i have amassed 800+ photos of our adventure.. now as we all look back, its certainly poignant to refresh back at the photos and reflect , laugh and chat back bout the silly things we did... Like playing table tennis in class, play daidee tournaments etc.. All those days.. hai

how memorable.. anyway i promised my gals that i will develop a yearbook.. true to my slacking skill, its 2005 now and the yearbook is still half done.. but i have a new resolution, that's to finally print out our very own 2SG5 yearbook.. Life's juz so short... i dun wanna hold back memories for my frens..

TT's all for today.. I'm gonna cook spagetti for lunch now.. yah doubt lots of pple know i can cook.. wahahha........ hey cmOn, its not shameful for guys to learn cooking.. =p but at the same time, my cooking can't be said to be excellent either..
